About Me
There is one thing a photograph must contain:
the humanity of the moment.

Born in North Carolina, raised in Southern California and current resident of the Northern Neck, Virginia - to say I've lived in many lives would be an accurate statement.
Throughout my travels and many homes, photography has always been a source of expression and appreciation for me. I am drawn to bold colors and it is my belief that nature provides us with the most beautiful palatte. My focus on flowers stems from my love of gardening and watching things change with the seasons. When I'm not capturing sunsets or new flowers in the spring, I work as a Sonographer and have worked in healthcare for over 35 years.
I currently live in Kilmarnock, VA with my husband and dog, Layla. Much of my work is inspired by the beautiful sunsets we get to enjoy on the water fishing the Rappahannock River and hiking the wooded trails near our home. We love to travel and outside of visiting our daughter in Colorado, enjoy adventuring to any place we can find outside. Some of my personal favorites have included our trips to Maine, Hawaii, California, Arizona and through the Midwest.
